Free Data Catalog

This catalog contains downloadable geospatial data sets in a ZIP compressed file format.  These free data sets do not require a license agreement.  The download disclaimer covers use of the data.  Users are encouraged to review the metadata available for each data set before downloading.  Unless otherwise specified, data is projected in the NAD83 datum, State Plane (feet), Colorado Central Zone.   2007 GIS Data Distribution Policy Policy
Assessor Taxing Districts
To comply with §39-5-112(2) CRS the Assessor must provide each taxing entity with the total valuation for assessment of land and improvements within the entity.  To accurately identify each taxing entity’s boundary a GIS file is created from recorded documents. As a courtesy, each August a boundary map is sent to each tax entity for verification. Below is list of tax entities within El Paso County. GIS data is only available for entities that have returned the verification form.
