AspenPointe Health Services is a local nonprofit that assists with the mental health care and substance abuse needs of children, youth, adults and families in our community. Care and Share (Community Food Bank)
Care and Share Food Bank for southern Colorado is distributing family food boxes, Gatorade, water, snacks and personal hygiene items to evacuees.
Donations are primarily directed to the main Colorado Springs Care and Share facility at Constitution and Powers, but donations can also be accepted at the DRC for ease of donors.

Centurylink staff will work with displaced families to forward their home phone number to a number of their choosing. No charges will be incurred for this service. The Centurylink account can be put on hold until our customers are able to utilize their service again. We will also work to assist with equipment and repair issues. The Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) and Office of Emergency Management is providing assistance in establishing the Disaster Recovery Center.  From 30 years of experience in managing disasters, DOLA has learned the value of offering a central location where residents can access their insurance companies and get information from government agencies, non-profit groups and private sector participants.

Discover Goodwill of Southern and Western Colorado is assisting those displaced by the Waldo Canyon fire through the collection and distribution of material goods at our regional retail centers. Fire evacuees will be provided free emergency vouchers they can redeem at any of our retail centers for items that best suit their individual needs and circumstances, in a manner that maintains their privacy. El Paso County Attorney’s Office
The El Paso County Attorney’s Office is answering legal questions in regard to the Waldo Canyon Fire.

El Paso County Public Health
El Paso County Public Health is providing education and information about medications, immunizations, and environmental health related to safe cleanup and re-entry into evacuated neighborhoods. Individuals may receive a voucher for vaccines that may be used at Public Health’s Immunization Clinic at 1675 W. Garden of the Gods Road. Staff are available to help individuals who need assistance locating resources for prescription medication. Guidance will be provided about how to safely handle food and clean up ash and debris. Colorado Division of Insurance
The Department of Regulatory Agencies, Division of Insurance, provides information about insurance and assists in navigating through the claim settlement process.   If necessary, the Division will assist consumers to address issues between a consumer and their insurance company. If you are unable to stop by the Disaster Recovery Center, you may contact us at 1-800-930-3745 or 303-894-7499 during regulation business hours.  You may also email the Division of Insurance at insurance@dora.state.co.us.

AAA
AAA Colorado members insured with AAA Insurance who have suffered damage to their homes or vehicles can begin filing claims immediately. AAA Insurance has a toll free number available for all its insured who may need assistance. The number is (800) 207-3618. AAA Colorado customers insured with carriers other than AAA Insurance should call (800) 461-3612 for assistance.

American Family Insurance
Customers who need to file claims can call 1-800-MYAMFAM (692-6326) or contact their local agent. Customers who have already filed claims but haven’t heard from their adjuster or have additional questions can call a hotline number, 1-866-723-0429, or stop by one of our mobile sites listed above.

Farmers Insurance
