In response to the overwhelming needs of the citizens impacted by the Waldo Canyon Fire, El Paso County has established the El Paso County Disaster Recovery Center (DRC).
The Disaster Recovery Center is designed to bring together the resources of multiple non-profit and governmental agencies offering assistance to all El Paso County residents. The County has been working with the Colorado Department of Local Affairs and the Division of Emergency Management to provide this central location where residents can access services ranging from assistance in filing insurance claims to grief counseling and rebuilding as our community begins to work toward recovery from this tragic event.
