The Board of El Paso County Commissioners regretfully acknowledged the retirement of Krzysztof “Chris” Myszkowski with a retirement Proclamation on Tuesday (July 19).
During his ten years with the County Mr. Myszkowski served as the Deputy Director of the El Paso County Public Health, the Operations Manager with the County Department of Human Services (DHS) and, most recently, as the Motor Vehicle Manager in the Clerk and Recorder’s Office.

First bat to test positive for rabies this season

A bat has tested positive for rabies in Fountain, Colorado. El Paso County Public Health is urging residents to never feed or touch stray or wild animals, and keep rabies vaccinations for pets and livestock up to date through a licensed veterinarian.
