The LOCAL GOVERNMENTAL DESIGNEE (LGD) is a COGCC recognized individual designated by the local government to receive copies of all state oil and gas permit applications. The LGD may make comments to the COGCC regarding any permit applications. The LGD also serves as a liaison between COGCC, COGA, local government, the oil and gas industry, local oil and gas operators and the public.
