The El Paso County Clerk and Recorder’s Office has completed the automatic recount of the 2019 Coordinated Election, City of Manitou Springs Issue 2D and Stratmoor Hills Sanitation District Issue 6F. The recount demonstrated the initial results stand and both Issues passed.
“Successful completion of the automatic recount with 100% accuracy provides the public with confidence in our representative democracy and election process,” said Chuck Broerman, Clerk and Recorder. “I would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the Democratic and Republican Canvass Board members, Elections Department staff and election judges.”
Final official results are approved by a bipartisan Canvass Board and can be viewed on the Election Night Reporting site.
Both jurisdictions have been notified of the results.
