November Forest Bathing Walk

Bear Creek Nature Center’s 8th Annual Bear Run; Fun Run & Walk Fundraiser

Join us for Bear Creek’s 8th Annual Bear Run; a silly, charity fun run and walk for a cause. Choice of 3k or 5k course along the trail! All new runners receive a bear suit to wear during the run and to keep! Returning runners register at a discounted rate. Kids Morning Out: Bear Aware, Why Should We Care?

Saturday, November 19, 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

Caregivers, drop off your child (ages 7-12) for a morning learning about black bears’ habits and adaptations and what WE can do to coexist safely with these large and often-misunderstood neighbors. Games, hike, and take-home activity. Lunch included. Prepaid registration required. $20 per child/$15 per member child.

Nature’s Classroom- Winter Adaptations

Tuesday, November 15, 1:00-3:00 p.m.

A puppet show, hike and interactive stations will high[1]light the adaptations of local animals in winter. Geared towards grades 1-3. Children at least 6 years old can be dropped off.

Post Gobble Wobble at Fox Run Regional Park

Saturday, November 26, 10:00 a.m.

Join us for a casual hike along Fox Run’s trials to enjoy a morning in nature while shaking off the excess of turkey day. $5 per person, $4 per member.
