August 26, 2020The El Paso County Clerk and Recorder’s Office is pleased to announce the Fort Carson branch is reopening September 8. Beginning today, customers can make an appointment for in-person service using the online appointment scheduler system at www.epcdrives.com. Services include motor vehicle and limited driver’s license. As a reminder, valid base access is required to gain admittance and walk-in customers will not be served.

“We are excited to resume service to our military personnel, their families and other customers on base,” said Clerk and Recorder Chuck Broerman. “Offering a branch on Fort Carson reinforces our commitment to the men and women whose service and sacrifice protects our nation.”

Making an appointment online is easy as this video illustrates and it is available at www.epcdrives.com. Appointments allow our staff to monitor the number of people in the office, maintain physical distancing and consistently sanitize counters and public areas. For the health and safety of all, customers must wear a mask and maintain social distancing. Only the party to the transaction will be allowed in the waiting area, others will be asked to wait outside.

The Fort Carson branch will be open Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. It is located at 6351 Wetzel Avenue, Bldg. 1525, Highway 115 and Gate 1.

Recording and Marriage License services also are available by appointment at Fort Carson. An appointment scheduler for Recording is online with more information at www.epcrecords.com. Procedures for marriage licenses may be accessed on the Clerk and Recorder’s website.
