September 28, 2020– The Clerk and Recorder’s Office will conduct a public Logic and Accuracy (L&A) test on all ballot counting equipment that will be used for the 2020 General Election. This includes the Central Count Optical Scanners, and Voter Service and Polling Center ballot marking devices.
The L&A test will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 29. The testing will continue until completion, which the Clerk’s Office anticipates will be Friday, October 2.
The test will be held in the Peterson Counting Room at the Citizens Service Center on the second floor. The test is open to all those who wish to observe, however, due to COVID-19 and for the health and safety of all, these spectators must maintain recommended physical distancing and must wear a face mask.
