December 20, 2024 – El Paso County administrative and elected administrative offices and affiliated agencies will be closed Tuesday, December 24, Wednesday, December 25, 2024, and Wednesday, January 1, 2025 in observance of the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays.
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office administration services will be closed on Tuesday, December 24, Wednesday, December 25, 2024, and Wednesday, January 1, 2025. However, emergency services such as our 9-1-1 Regional Communications Center, detention operations, and patrol will continue without disruption to provide emergency and essential services for our community.
The El Paso County 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office and the El Paso County Combined Courts will be open on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, and closed on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, and Wednesday, January 1, 2025.
The closures for December 24, 2024, December 25, 2024, and January 1, 2025, include the following:
- El Paso County Assessor’s Office
- El Paso County Clerk and Recorder’s Office
- All locations will close at 12 p.m. (noon) on Monday, December 23, 2024
- All locations will be closed Thursday, December 26, 2024
- The North Branch, located at Union Town Center will be closed Saturday, December 28, 2024
- All locations will be closed Tuesday, December 31, 2024
- CSU Extension
- El Paso County Department of Human Services
- El Paso County Public Health
- El Paso County Treasurer & Public Trustee’s Office
- The office will be closed on Monday, December 23, 2024
- El Paso County Coroner’s Office
- Pikes Peak Workforce Center
The El Paso County Department of Human Services will be closed Tuesday, December 24, Wednesday, December 25, 2024, and Wednesday, January 1, 2025. Visit www.Colorado.gov/PEAK to manage case information, apply for SNAP (Food Assistance), or learn about additional programs.
The El Paso County Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) is announcing the cancellation of the following BoCC and Land Use meetings:
- Tuesday, December 24, 2024 (Regular)
- Thursday, December 26, 2024 (Land Use)
- Tuesday, December 31, 2024 (Regular)
- Tuesday, January 7, 2025 (Regular)
- Thursday, January 9, 2025 (Land Use)
The next regular Board of County Commissioners meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 10 a.m.
