November 21, 2024 – El Paso County administrative and elected administrative offices and affiliated agencies will be closed on Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office will be closed Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29 for administrative services, however, emergency services such as our 9 11 Regional Communication Center, jail operations, and patrol will continue, without disruption.
The closure includes the following:
- El Paso County Assessor’s Office
- El Paso County Clerk and Recorder’s Office (all locations)
- All locations will close at 12 p.m. (noon) on Wednesday, November 27
- The North Branch, located at Union Town Center will be closed Saturday, November 30, in observance of Thanksgiving
- El Paso County Combined Courts
- 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office
- CSU Extension
- El Paso County Department of Human Services
- El Paso County Public Health
- El Paso County Treasurer & Public Trustee’s Office
- El Paso County Coroner’s Office
- Pikes Peak Workforce Center
The El Paso County Department of Human Services will be closed Thursday, November 28, 2024, and Friday, November 29, 2024. Visit www.Colorado.gov/PEAK to manage case information, apply for SNAP (Food Assistance), or learn about additional programs.
The El Paso County Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) is announcing the cancellation of the following BoCC and Land Use meetings:
- Tuesday, November 26 (Regular)
- Thursday, November 28 (Land Use)
- Tuesday, December 3 (Regular)
- Tuesday, December 24 (Regular)
- Thursday, December 26 (Land Use)
