October 24, 2025 – The El Paso County Facilities and Strategic Infrastructure Management team is upgrading elevator flooring across County buildings to ensure a consistent, professional appearance and enhance long-term durability. The new flooring is designed to withstand heavy foot traffic more effectively and facilitate easier cleaning and maintenance.
We understand this work may cause some inconvenience and greatly appreciate your patience and cooperation during the process. In buildings with multiple elevators, at least one elevator will remain in service at all times to minimize disruption. Each elevator upgrade is expected to take approximately one day to complete, barring any unforeseen issues. Please note that the completion date is subject to change.
All building locations will have alternate accessibility routes available during this time. If you need on-site assistance, please visit the front desk of the respective building.
