February 3, 2026 – El Paso County will implement shifting traffic patterns along the exit ramp, both eastbound and roundabout accesses, from northbound Interstate 25 to North Gate Boulevard (Exit 156) as part of ongoing stormwater improvements.
Beginning the week of February 9, traffic exiting northbound Interstate 25 will be shifted to accommodate construction activities within the off-ramp near the roundabout. Motorists will still be able to access the roundabout via a short temporary access detour and eastbound North Gate Boulevard through the roundabout as traffic shifts.
Drivers should expect minor delays along the North Gate Boulevard off-ramp corridor during this work. Additional traffic impacts may occur as construction progresses east along North Gate Boulevard toward Struthers Road.
Updates will be provided periodically throughout the duration of the project. Please refer to the map below for general traffic impacts.

- Watch for workers, equipment, signs, and barricades.
- Use caution, particularly during winter weather.
