July 23, 2025 – Beginning Wednesday, July 30, El Paso County will start work replacing multiple cross pans on Chimayo Drive. One is located at the Chimayo Drive and Bison Drive intersection, with the second just west of that intersection, crossing Chimayo Drive itself.
The work is expected to be completed in five working days, weather permitting. The affected closure and resulting detour are depicted on the vicinity map below.
