Nature Adventures: Rascally Raccoons

Children ages 3-6, with an adult, will enjoy puppet shows or stories, crafts, hands-on activities, and discovery time on the trail. Prepaid registration required. $3 per person including siblings and adults.


2’s & 3’s Outdoors: On the Move

Friday, March 15, 10:00 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. & 2:00 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.

Explore nature with your 2 or 3-year-old through interactive activities, a story, and a short hike. Prepaid registration required. $3 per person including siblings and adults.

Searching for less stress & more peace? Join Jamie Nicholas, founder of Mighty Mindful Beings for this 2-part series and dive into the practice of MINDFULNESS and MEDITATION. Building for the Birds

Painting in the Park: Pottery Edition

Color Me Mine is coming to Fountain Creek Nature Center! Spend the afternoon decorating a nature-themed pottery piece – trained staff, tools, paints, and glazes provided. Homeschool Fridays: Walk the Wetlands

Communication in Nature

Saturday, March 23, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

“You can tell it’s an aspen tree because of the way it is.” You love nature, but how do you share it? Have you struggled to verbalize which tree a bird is in, or what field marks to look for in a species? In this hike we’ll focus on being descriptive, clear communicators so we can make more sense outside. Ages 7+. Prepaid registration required. $5 per person, $4 per member.


Spring Break Camp: Arts in the Park

Campers will tap into their creative side and expand upon their communication styles during a week dedicated to various art mediums. Deeper connections with the natural world will be made through the use of music, acting, storytelling, drawing and painting. Chocolate Bunny Egg Hunt

Meet a live rabbit, learn about rabbits via a fun, interactive slide show, then hunt for eggs as you hike through the woods. For children ages 2-10 with an adult. Prepaid registration required. $6 per child, $5 per member child.
