Due to technical difficulties, on Tuesday, Aug, 15, with the State network provider CenturyLink, all motor vehicle and driver’s license services are unavailable at this time. The El Paso County Clerk and Recorder are notifying customers that services cannot be transacted at any of its five motor vehicle offices.

“We were notified that the State Governor’s Office of Information Technology is experiencing difficulties,” said Clerk and Recorder Chuck Broerman. “We appreciate our customers’ understanding during this period when we are unable process transactions.”

We encourage customers to visit mydmv.colorado.gov to complete their transaction via one of the 34 online services, which are operational, while we work with our partners to restore office services. We will keep the public apprised when the issue is resolved and services are restored.
