Nature Adventures: Batty Bats

Thursday, November 4 and Friday, November 5, 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

Children ages 3-6, with an adult, will enjoy puppet shows or stories, crafts, hands-on activities, and discovery time on the trail. $3 per person including siblings 2 and over and adults. Prepaid registration required.

2s & 3s Outdoors: Gobble Gobble!

Thursday, November 18 and Friday, November 19, 9:00 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.

Explore nature with your 2 or 3 year-old through interactive activities, a story, and a short hike. $3 per person including siblings 2 and over and adults. Prepaid registration required.

Homeschool Fridays: Walk the Wetlands

Friday, November 6, 2:00-4:00 p.m.

Use your senses to explore the wetland and learn about the animals that live there. Includes a puppet show, animal inquiry activity, and a guided hike. Designed for grades Pre-k – 2. 10 participants minimum; participants can join with other homeschool groups. Prepaid registration required. $4 per person.

Forest Therapy for the Immobile

Saturday, November 13, 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

A therapeutic experience where nature is brought to you with aromas, textures, sounds, and flavors of the forest. All from the center’s balcony overlooking the beautiful nature preserve. Hosted by Certified Forest Therapy Guide Summer Lajoie with Listening Pines. $30 per person, $20 per members.

Holiday Craft Show

Saturday, November 20, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Local artists and vendors will display and sell their unique creations. Enjoy the sights and smells of the season and support local community artists and the nature center through your purchases. Free to attend and shop! Contact for an application to be a vendor.
