El Paso County Proclamations | Recognizing Our Community

Proclamations are a fantastic opportunity for the Board of County Commissioners to recognize the extraordinary achievements or milestones of our community partners and internal departments. Please click the link below to submit your proclamation request.

You’ll be asked to submit a draft of your proclamation as part of your request. Don’t worry if you haven’t written one before, we have resources to help you! Find the example below which best fits your needs and use that as a template for creating your draft.

All submissions are subject to approval and calendar availability, so all requests must be submitted eight (8) weeks prior to when you’d like to receive your proclamation. You also have three options for how you can receive your proclamation: you can receive it at a Board of County Commissioners meeting, you can pick it up from our office, or you can request that a Commissioner deliver your proclamation to an event being held in conjunction the milestone or accomplishment you’re celebrating.
