Compliance is an ongoing threat to contractors working for the government. Among compliance issues is your insurance and bonding. While this may not be the most glamorous of topics, it’s an important one. We’ll be discussing the some of the nuances of insurance as it relates to government contractors (what they say you need vs. what you really need) as well as the basics of surety bonding, a unique requirement for hard construction projects to the government (what is a bond and how do I get one?). Depending on the audience, we can get into details specific to your needs as well as more advanced discussions (how do I bond larger, more often, and even at lower rates?) as time allows.

This will not be a boring discussion of an insurance policy. Expect practical, actionable information delivered in hopefully an interesting way that’s useful to you.
