September 30, 2020 – Beginning on Friday, October 2, Bradley Road will be closed to through traffic between Cody Drive and Hancock Expressway for work on the Security Drinking Water Mitigation System project. The project is being complete to mitigate groundwater contamination.

Work is being conducted by Wildcat Construction Company under the direction of the US Army Corps of Engineers and the US Air Force in coordination with Security Water District. The overall project is expected to be completed in approximately 2.5 weeks, weather and resources permitting.

Motorists will need to use alternate routes which includes Hancock Expressway/Milton Proby Parkway/South Academy Boulevard.

Drivers & Motorists:

  • Use caution when traveling through the work zone
  • Watch for workers, equipment, signs and barricades
  • Plan for added travel time for those using detours
