El Paso County, Colorado, July 27, 2023 – The El Paso County Treasurer’s Office has announced that it will temporarily close to the public from July 31st through August 13th to implement a significant systems upgrade. This closure will allow El Paso County to undertake crucial upgrades and comprehensive personnel training, further improving the essential services provided by the Treasurer’s Office.

A new, upgraded system called Collectware will be implemented during this period, bringing numerous enhancements to the functions within the Treasurer’s Office. These improvements include streamlining tax statement generation, payment processing, and delinquent tax management.

“The treasurer’s office is committed to providing the best service possible to the residents of El Paso County,” said El Paso County Treasurer Chuck Broerman. “Investing time and resources in upgrading our systems and training staff will result in improved services and efficiency for our residents.”
