News Release for upcoming workshops in Falcon area

March 28, 2022 – The Pikes Peak Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and Economic Development are excited to announce consulting hours and workshops to better serve our small business community in Falcon and the surrounding areas.

“The Pikes Peak SBDC is excited to expand outreach and provide our resources to small businesses in Eastern El Paso County,” said Aikta Marcoulier, Pikes Peak SBDC Executive Director. “We understand our rural communities are growing and need our specialized support. Support which includes resources from the local, state, and federal levels. Thank you to our partners, El Paso County, the Eastern Plains Chamber of Commerce, and the High Plains Library for their support in our expansion.”

We are excited to offer a robust e-commerce series and workshop topics that include marketing, government contracting, and rural resources for small businesses. The workshop hours will vary by date.

The free one-on-one consulting hours will be held every other Tuesday from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., at High Prairie Library, 7035 Meridian Road, Peyton, CO. Here is a list of upcoming dates:

  • May 24

We are also excited to bring an Economic Development panel and a B2B expo event to Peyton in May. More information on that endeavor will be shared soon.
