June 27, 2025 – El Paso County administrative and elected administrative offices and affiliated agencies will be closed Friday, July 4, 2025, in observance of Independence Day.
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office administration services will be closed on Friday, July 4, 2025. However, emergency services such as our 9-1-1 Regional Communications Center, detention operations, and patrol will continue without disruption.
The closures for July 4, 2025, include the following:
- El Paso County Assessor’s Office
- El Paso County Clerk and Recorder’s Office
- All locations will be closed from 12 p.m. on Thursday, July 3 and resume normal operations on Monday, July 7
- CSU Extension
- El Paso County Department of Human Services
- El Paso County Public Health
- El Paso County Treasurer & Public Trustee’s Office
- El Paso County Coroner’s Office
- 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office
- Pikes Peak Workforce Center
The El Paso County Department of Human Services will be closed Friday, July 4, 2025. Visit www.Colorado.gov/PEAK to manage case information, apply for SNAP (Food Assistance), or learn about additional programs.
The El Paso County Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) is also announcing their meeting schedule for July. The current schedule is as follows:
- July 8 – BoCC Regular Meeting and Informal Meeting
- July 22 – BoCC Regular Meeting and Informal Meeting
- July 24 – BoCC Land Use Meeting
