February 23, 2026 – El Paso County will modify traffic access at Meridian Drive and Owl Place as part of roadway improvements in the Falcon area.
Beginning Monday, March 2, 2026, at approximately 8:00 a.m., the northbound outer lane of Meridian Drive will be closed between Eastonville Road and Owl Place for approximately three days, weather dependent.
This closure is necessary to remove the existing left-turn movement from northbound Meridian Drive onto Owl Place and accommodate a new access route to Owl Place.
Following completion of the work, motorists will no longer be able to turn left from northbound Meridian Drive onto Owl Place. Access to Owl Place will instead be available from the roundabout located at Falcon Market Place and Eastonville Road.
Drivers should expect minor delays in the area during construction. Motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes and allow additional travel time while work is underway.
