El Paso County will host a community meeting on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at Drake Lake, 7502 Mallard Drive, Peyton to discuss the design for the embankment repair.
The breach in the embankment at Drake Lake occurred in 2017. El Paso County completed temporary repairs to address the breach. El Paso County contracted with GMS Consulting Engineers in 2018 to complete the design and specifications for the embankment repair. GMS will present the proposed design at the meeting. All interested citizens are encouraged to attend.
