The Communications Department provides key services to County staff, volunteers, community partners, and citizens. Their responsibilities and services include:

  • Delivering timely and accurate information and administrative support related to the duties of Elected Offices and Officials.
  • Supporting the County’s various public service and outreach initiatives.
  • Creating and maintaining multi-media educational materials and publications.
  • Handling media relations and website resources.
  • Processing Colorado Open Records Act (CORA) requests related to County operations.
  • Organizing special events and forums to engage citizens in County government.
