April 4, 2025 – The El Paso County Department of Parks & Community Services is pleased to partner with HBS Trash Services to enhance the maintenance and cleanliness of East District parks, including the El Paso County Fair and Events Center. Through this partnership, HBS Trash Services will provide in-kind trash collection services, ensuring that these valued public spaces remain clean and welcoming for all visitors.
“Strong community partnerships are vital to the success of our parks and recreational facilities,” said Todd Marts, El Paso County Parks & Community Services Executive Director. “HBS Trash Services’ support allows us to enhance the park experience for our visitors while reinforcing our shared commitment to public land stewardship.”
HBS Trash Services’ contribution will directly benefit parks throughout the East District, including Falcon Regional Park, Homestead Ranch Regional Park, Santa Fe Trail, the El Paso County Fair & Events Center, and Paint Mines Interpretive Park, where thousands of residents and visitors gather each year for events, outdoor recreation, and community activities.

The El Paso County Park System includes a unique network of parks, open spaces, and trails that span over 8,000 acres. Through strategic partnerships with local businesses and organizations, the County continues to enhance and sustain outdoor recreation areas for future generations.
