January 16, 2025 – El Paso County administrative and elected administrative offices and affiliated agencies will be closed Monday, January 20, 2025, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office administration services will be closed on Monday, January 20, 2025. However, emergency services such as our 9-1-1 Regional Communications Center, detention operations, and patrol will continue without disruption to provide emergency and essential services for our community.

The closures for January 20, 2025, include the following:

  • El Paso County Assessor’s Office
  • El Paso County Clerk and Recorder’s Office
    • All locations will be closed Monday, January 20, 2025
    • The North Branch, located at Union Town Center will also be closed Saturday, January 18, 2025.
  • CSU Extension
  • El Paso County Department of Human Services
  • El Paso County Public Health
  • El Paso County Treasurer & Public Trustee’s Office
  • El Paso County Coroner’s Office
  • 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office
  • Pikes Peak Workforce Center

The El Paso County Department of Human Services will be closed Monday, January 20, 2025. Visit www.Colorado.gov/PEAK to manage case information, apply for SNAP (Food Assistance), or learn about additional programs.

The El Paso County Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) is also announcing the cancellation of the Thursday, January 23, 2025 Land Use meeting.
