August 7, 2025 – El Paso County Parks is partnering with the Archery School of the Rockies (ASR), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, to provide free archery classes to Veterans and individuals with disabilities at the Archery Range in Bear Creek Regional Park.

Now through September 2025, Veterans and adults with disabilities can participate in a free monthly archery program. Sessions are held on the third Friday of each month from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The program is designed to introduce individuals to the sport of archery while connecting them to outdoor opportunities within El Paso County Parks.

“This collaboration is a meaningful way to promote connection and confidence,” said Todd Marts, El Paso County Parks Executive Director. “We’re proud to support recreation opportunities that make the outdoors more accessible for everyone in our community.”
