CSU Ex Classes

Garden Study School is open to the public. This two-day training is sponsored by The Colorado Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc. Wednesday, May 2, classes will be held at the Colorado State University Extension building at 17 N. Spruce in Colorado Springs. Classes on Thursday, May 3, will be held at Summerland Gardens 124 E Cheyenne Rd., Colorado Springs. The training is geared to experienced and beginning gardeners.

Topics include:

· Factors that Influence Plant Growth

· Pruning Techniques

· Techniques for Growing Outdoor Flowers

· Classifying Plants

· Teaching Tour of a Garden.

For Garden Club members who wish to test for certification, testing will be held both days. Testing is not required.

Time & Date: Wednesday May 2 and Thursday May 3. Registration at 8:30. Class begins at 9:00.
