Creek Week Cleanup
Saturday, October 2, 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
The Creek Week cleanup aims to bring Fountain Creek Watershed communities together to foster the health of our local waterways for citizens and wildlife alike. Help us clean up Bear Creek as part of this
effort! Wear shoes that can get wet and muddy. Free. Preregistration required.
Forest Bathing Walk

Practice mindfulness in nature with a certified Forest Therapy Guide on a gentle walk through the woods

Lajoie with Listening Pines. A therapeutic experience where nature is brought to you with aromas, textures, sounds and flavors of the forest. All from the center’s balcony overlooking the beautiful nature preserve. $30 per nonmember / $20 per member.

Fall Harvest Festival at Gold Hill Mesa To Benefit Bear Creek Nature Center
Saturday, October 9, 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Join us at Gold Hill Mesa’s Community Center for live music, petting zoo, pony rides, bounce houses, vendors, food trucks, pumpkins, and more. Great fun for all ages. FREE to attend, activity wristbands for purchase.

Kids’ Morning Out: Bear Creek Boo Bash
Saturday, October 23, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Grownups, drop off your young spooks (ages 6-12,
costumes encouraged!) for a morning spent hiking along spooky trails while learning about some of Bear Creek’s creepiest creatures. Lunch included. Educational Halloween fun!
$25 per child / $20 per member child.
