El Paso County Department of Public Works’ contractor is concluding work at the Struthers Road – Gleneagle Drive Intersection Project. All lanes of the newly constructed roundabout and its approaches will be open to traffic on Wednesday, April 29th. Intermittent shoulder work will continue until completion. Please use caution, reduce speeds, and watch for workers, equipment, signs, and barricades. Drivers should use caution proceeding through the roundabout and the associated new traffic pattern.
Work included the construction of a roundabout and associated approaches, as well as an underground drainage system and pedestrian improvements at the intersection and along the northeast side of Struthers Road. Funding for this project is provided by El Paso County.
