December 10, 2021 – The El Paso County Board of Commissioners is seeking community-minded citizen volunteers to serve on the South Platte Basin Round Table (SPRT). Applications for the open positions are due by December 24, 2021.
The Roundtables were established under HB 1177 as part of the Inter Basin Compact Committee (IBCC) process to be forums for water discussion and planning on a water basin level and also on a statewide basis. As a portion of El Paso County lies within the South Platte River Basin, the county is allocated a voting seat on the SPRT.
Meetings are typically held on the second Tuesday of every month from 4:00-7:00pm.
