June 11, 2021 – The El Paso County Fair Queen committee announces the 2021 El Paso County Fair Queen, Madyson Ann Burhing from Calhan, Colorado.

Earlier this spring, Madyson was evaluated in four competition categories: horsemanship, public speaking, personal interview, and the quality of her application. She excelled in all categories and has begun her duties as an advocate and ambassador for the 2021 El Paso County Fair, 4-H and FFA youth programs.

Madyson is the 20-year-old daughter of Clint & Lisa Buhring, and Cody Blount. She is currently a senior at the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy. Madyson spent 9 years in 4-H participating in the horse and miniature donkey projects. Madyson is thrilled to have the opportunity to get folks excited about a Time to Celebrate at the 2021 El Paso County Fair.

“I am honored to be crowned the 2021 El Paso County Fair Queen to promote the Fair and agricultural programs like 4-H and FFA within El Paso County,” said Madyson Ann Buhring, 2021 El Paso County Fair Queen. “I look forward to the Fair every year and this year especially, it is time to celebrate.”

The El Paso County Fair aims to provide a wide variety of activities that celebrates El Paso County history, culture, and heritage. 2021 will mark the 116th event honoring the County’s rich history and traditions, welcoming a new generation of fairgoers, providing educational and entertainment to visitors of all ages.
