including a Signal Service operator, a County Poor Farm matron, and an owner of a rooming house in Cripple Creek, along our beautiful winter trails!

Let’s play Bunco in the Nature Center! Join a wonderful evening of excitement, laughs, and rolling dice. Dice, score cards, nacho bar, and prizes provided. This Bunco party is for everyone ages 13 and older. All minors must be accompanied by an adult but can venture on their own during game play. Ages 13+ $10 per person. Pre-registration required

In this seminar styled program you will learn everything you need to know about fishing and how to get started. Come learn from local pros and special guest speakers about one of Colorado’s greatest recreation assets.

Upcycled Craft Workshop

Thursday, February 8, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.

Tap into your artistic side and show some love to nature by joining us for an evening making bird feeders from upcycled materials. We’ll build and decorate together, and you’ll leave with a perfect gift for the birds, or that bird-lover in your life! For ages 18+.

Winter Fun at Fox Run

Let’s celebrate all things nature and winter at Fox Run! Activities include storytelling, wagon rides, dog snow queen and king parade and contest, hot dog and marshmallow roasting, hot chocolate, a craft and games!

Eat, drink, and make a craft! Enjoy great food and beer as you learn how to wood burn from artist and naturalist, Kylee! Take home an ornament wood burned on live edge wood.

Intro to Indoor Gardening

Saturday February 17, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Winter is a great time to start an indoor garden! Head to Bear Creek Nature Center for an indoor gardening and repotting class. Bring your plants and new pots to learn all the do’s and don’ts about transferring your green friends into their new home.
