El Paso County Child Support Services is moving, joining many other County offices and resources in the Citizens Service Center building on Garden of the Gods Road.

“We are excited to bring Child Support Services to our central location, adding to the list of services and programs already available and accessible at the Citizens Service Center,” said Julie Krow, El Paso County Department of Human Services Executive Director.

To accommodate the move from downtown Colorado Springs, the office will be closed Friday, January 18, 2019. Child Support Services will reopen at its new location on the first floor of the Citizens Service Center at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22. County offices are closed Monday, Jan. 21, in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., holiday.

Child Support Services is a federally mandated program, housed under the Department of Human Services. El Paso County contracts with YoungWilliams to offer services. At any given time, Child Support Services manages approximately 19,000 cases and collects over $50 million in child support annually. About 900 clients visit the child support office each month.

Existing child support clients were notified by mail, with a postcard including information about the new location.
