Clerk News Release image

The El Paso County Clerk and Recorder’s Office continues to process voted ballots for the 2018 General Election. An update will be posted at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8, to the Election Night Reporting site. Approximately 82% of all ballots cast have been tabulated and the remaining percentage is not expected to affect the outcome of the current Unofficial Results. Election Judges will continue to work late this evening to verify signatures, scan and tabulate these ballots. An Unofficial Final Results posting will be released Friday.

As a reminder, Election results will become “Official” with the completion of the canvass by November 28. During this time, military and overseas ballots may still be received. Also, any ballots with issues to be resolved, such as verification of the voter’s signature, have eight days after the election (November 14) to be cured.
