January 8, 2026 – El Paso County officials announced that the Palmer Park Drainage Improvements Project has successfully advanced through an important legislative milestone in Congress, following leadership from Congressman Jeff Crank. This action keeps the project moving forward and brings El Paso County closer to delivering key infrastructure enhancements.
The Palmer Park Drainage Improvements Project represents a forward-looking infrastructure investment that enhances public safety, improves access, and supports a more reliable transportation network for El Paso County.
“Congressman Jeff Crank continues to prove himself as a strong advocate for El Paso County,” said Carrie Geitner, Chair of the El Paso County Board of Commissioners. “This project advanced because he knows how to move priorities through the legislative process. His leadership pushed the project past a critical goalpost, keeping it on track and moving closer to completion.
