March 31, 2025 – In recognition of National County Government Month (NCGM) this April, El Paso County is launching a month-long digital campaign to showcase the vital programs and services that support residents daily. Through social media spotlights, a special podcast episode, and resources on our website the County aims to share with the community the many ways local government impacts daily life.

“National County Government Month is a great opportunity to highlight the essential services El Paso County provides daily,” said Commissioner Carrie Geitner, Chair of the Board of County Commissioners. “From public safety and infrastructure to economic development and community resources, our goal is to serve residents while maintaining a low-tax, limited government that allows all citizens the freedom to thrive. Through initiatives like Citizen Connect, we’re making it easier than ever for people to engage with their local government, report concerns, and connect with their commissioners. We encourage everyone to explore these resources and learn more about how the County serves our community.”
