May 24, 2024 – Beginning Tuesday, May 28, El Paso County will start replacing a pipe beneath Yucatan Drive between the two inlets at the Hancock Expressway and Yucatan Drive intersection. The project is expected to be completed in five working days, weather permitting.
Closure Information:
- Yucatan Drive between Hancock Expressway and Cantrell Drive will be closed starting on Tuesday, May 28 through June 4.
Detour:
- Hancock Expressway from Yucatan Drive to Manzana Drive
- Manzana Drive from Hancock Expressway to Cantrell Drive
- Cantrell Drive from Manzana Drive to Yucatan Drive
Safety Reminders:
- Reduce speeds in work zone.
- Watch for workers, equipment, signs, and barricades.
