August 11, 2021 – El Paso County announces the date and location for their 12th Annual Happy Trails Event. The celebration and fundraising event will be held at the Gazebo in Fox Run Regional Park on August 20, 2021 from 6:00 pm – 9:00pm.
“Happy Trails is one of our signature fundraising events for El Paso County Parks” said Todd Marts, El Paso County Parks and Recreation Division Manager. “We are looking forward to gathering and celebrating our 50th Anniversary in one of our beautiful parks with the goal of raising funds to support the much anticipated El Paso County Northern Nature Center.”
The 12th annual event will feature a delicious Buffalo Gals BBQ dinner, drinks and decadent desserts that are a staple of this beloved event. Wirewood Station will fill the lakeside space with their special Americana sound. This is sure to be a magical evening in a breathtaking outdoor space celebrating El Paso County Parks 50th Anniversary and raise funds for the El Paso County Northern Nature Center.
“We are thankful for the continued community support and engagement in our parks and nature centers” said Mary Jo Lewis, Bear Creek Nature Center Supervisor. “Our annual Happy Trails event offers an opportunity to come together in a spirit of celebration to raise funds to provide more services to more of our community.”
