El Paso County, Colorado, March 14, 2024 – El Paso County administrative, elected administrative offices, and affiliated agencies will be closed on Thursday, March 14, due to inclement weather.
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office will remain open to serve public safety needs.
The closure applies to non-mission essential personnel and includes:
- El Paso County Public Health
- El Paso County Department of Human Services
- El Paso County Clerk and Recorder
- El Paso County Assessor
- El Paso County Treasurer
- 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office
- El Paso County Combined Courts
- CSU Extension
- Pikes Peak Workforce Center
Employees that can work remotely should do so.
We would like to remind citizens to plan accordingly by monitoring weather forecasts and heeding travel warnings.
As a reminder, the El Paso County Board of Commissioners will hold the regularly scheduled land use meeting remotely at 9 a.m., which will be live-streamed on Facebook, Twitter, and the county channel.
