December 15, 2023 – El Paso County administrative and elected offices and affiliated agencies will be closed on Friday, December 22 and Monday, December 25 in observance of the Christmas holiday.

The closure for only Christmas Day on Monday, December 25, includes the following:

  • Offices of the 4th Judicial District Attorney
  • El Paso County Combined Courts

The closure for both Friday, December 22 and Monday, December 25, includes the following:

  • El Paso County Administrative Offices
  • El Paso County Coroner’s Office
    • Office will also close at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 21
  • Colorado State University Extension
  • El Paso County Department of Human Services
  • El Paso County Assessor’s Office
  • El Paso County Clerk and Recorder’s Offices
    • The North Office at Union Town Center will also be closed on Saturday, December 23
    • Offices will also be closed Tuesday, December 26
  • El Paso County Public Health
  • El Paso County Public Trustee
  • El Paso County Treasurer’s Office
    • Office will also close at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 21
  • Pikes Peak Workforce Center

The El Paso County Department of Human Services will be closed for the County-observed holidays. Visit www.Colorado.gov/PEAK to manage case information, apply for SNAP (Food Assistance), or learn about additional programs.

Administrative offices, elected-administrative offices, and affiliated agencies, except for the Clerk & Recorder’s office, will return to regular business hours on Tuesday, December 26, 2023.

In addition, there will be no Board of County Commissioners meetings, including Land Use meetings, between Tuesday, December 19, and Tuesday, January 2, 2024, due to the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. The Board of County Commissioners will reconvene for their regular meeting schedule on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.
