Many local organizations are supporting those struggling in our community with food distributions throughout the county. Below is a list of organizations who have set up different distributions for those in need of food assistance. If you or someone you know plans on going to pick up food from any of these locations, we advise you call the organization at the phone numbers provided ahead of going to pick up food in case their offerings have changed.

  • 1st and 3rd Friday 9am-3pm – Commodities and Senior boxes to all residents of El Paso County

Free Grocery Delivery for Seniors from SoCo Heating and Cooling – “It has come to our attention that grocery delivery services are booked for days and our senior citizens may be unable to get what they need safely. SoCo Heating and Cooling will be doing free grocery delivery for all seniors. Please share with friends and neighbors as many seniors are not online. United Way Food Box Delivery Program – call 211 and they will deliver a food box to your doorstep within 24-48 hours

Hunger Free Colorado Food Resource Hotline (855-855-4626), M – F (8 am – 4:30 pm). The Food Resource Hotline keeps all information confidential and has bilingual staff ready to help Coloradans find food and nutrition resources in their community, as well as provide assistance for applying to federal nutrition programs such as SNAP.

Catholic Charities of Central Colorado is offering Altered Meal Service at Marian House Soup Kitchen from a daily, hot meal served in the Marian House dining room, to distributing sack lunches daily between 11 am – noon

Colorado Springs Promise Food Distribution at Mitchell High School every other Thursday afternoon starting May 7

Food for Children

Children under the age of 18, including toddlers, can go to any pick-up location for a free grab and go meal. Children can go to any site regardless of their home school district. Meal locations in EPC, Pueblo and Teller Counties.
