SBDC workshop

The Pikes Peak Small Business Development Center and the UCCS Economic Forum will host presentations and discussions at the 3rd annual State of Small Business event Tuesday, June 5.

The two hosts have worked together on this event for three years, bringing the latest in small business statistics and information to the Pikes Peak region. Discussion includes the impact of small business and the latest resources available at the state and local levels, as well as a brief midyear economic report from Dr. Tatiana Bailey, UCCS Economic Forum director. Also speaking are Stephanie Copeland, Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade executive director, and Aikta Marcoulier, Pikes Peak SBDC director.

The State of Small Business is Tuesday, June 5, at Pine at the Hill, 775 W. Bijou St., Colorado Springs. Registration and breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. and presentations begin at 8 a.m. Small Business Roundtables will follow. Tickets cost $35. Tables of eight seats may still be available.
