February 22, 2024 – The Board of El Paso County Commissioners is seeking a community-minded volunteer to serve on the El Paso County Board of Retirement. Applications for the open position are due by March 5, 2024.

The Board of Retirement is currently seeking one Commissioner appointed, registered voter of El Paso County. They will serve with other appointed and elected members, and county officials to oversee the County’s employee retirement plan.

The board of retirement consists of five members, one who is the County Treasurer, two employees who are elected by the members of the plan, and two who are registered voters of the county chosen by the board of county commissioners.

Board meetings are typically held on the second Monday of the month except June and December, at 8 a.m., at the Regional Development Center, 2880 International Circle, Colorado Springs, Colorado or virtually on Microsoft teams as appropriate.
